Fudge Sweet Brownies

2/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs (beaten well)
1/2 cups butter (melted) or vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
1/2 cups “Fudge Sweet” (softened)
1/2 cups “Fruit Sweet”

Sift together the flour and baking powder and set aside. Mix the butter or oil, eggs, softened Fudge Sweet, Fruit Sweet and the vanilla extract. Add flour mixture, blending thoroughly. Add nuts. Pour into a floured and greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake in 350 F oven for 14-16 minutes, or until the cake springs back when gently touched.

Diabetic Date Dainties

2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon sweetener (your favorite)
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup dates (chopped)
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup nuts
1 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Beat the eggs, baking powder and sweetener. Add the chopped dates, flour and nuts, then stir in the bread crumbs. Chill mixture. Measure by teaspoonfuls and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10-12 minutes.
