Chocolate Nut Chip Cookies
 
1 2/3 cup flour
2/3 cup Cocoa
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Crisco shortening
3/4 cup Brown sugar (gently packed)
1/2 cup Granulated sugar
1 Egg
2 tbsp Milk
2 tsp Vanilla extract
2 cups White chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups nuts (chopped)
 
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt and mix well. Cream the shortening, sugars, egg, water and vanilla extract in large mixing bowl until light and creamy. Add in dry ingredients with mixer on low speed until just blended. Stir in white chocolate chips and nuts. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Leave 1 - 2 inches between cookies as they will spread. Bake at 375 degrees F for 7 to 9 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool for about 1 minute, then remove to wire cooling rack to cool completely.
