Cinnamon Coffee Bars

1 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
1/3 c. butter (room temperature)
1 egg
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. water
1 tbs instant coffee (dry)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon (ground)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. nuts (chopped)
White Glaze (recipe follows)

White Glaze Ingredients:

1 c. confectioners sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla flavoring
4 – 5 tsp milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9 x 13 rectangular pan. Beat first three ingredients in large bowl on medium speed or mix with spoon by hand. Add in remaining ingredients with the exception of raisins, nuts and Glaze. Fold in raisins and nuts. Spread mixture in pan. Bake 20 minutes or until firm. While warm, drizzle with White Glaze. Cool before cutting into bars.

White Glaze Directions:

Combine all ingredients until thin and smooth enough to drizzle.
