It's now November, so we've just updated our Christmas cookie recipes section and moved it to the front page featured recipes section. If you're looking for Christmas cookies to bake, don't forget our sugar cookie recipes section as well, with over 50 sugar cookie recipes for Santa.

the sour cream sugar cookies are great... just make sure you use good quality sour cream. I used a cheap store brand that was low fat last year and they didn't taste so great. The richness wasn't there. Use full fat sour cream, the Knudsen kind, makes perfect cookies. Great texture and you get that richness and a slight tang. I've had many people ask for the recipe.

I made a selection of cookies this year... 7 layer bars, the rolled sugar cookies, gingerbread and a bunch of candies. I wish I had seen the sour cream sugar cookies first, maybe I'll make those this weekend.
