Hi there. I'm trying to find a good cookie recipe, for like chocolate chip or sugar cookies, that travel well, as I'd like to mail a box to my boyfriend who is away at college. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello Serendipity,
We actually wrote a blog article on this subject last year, it includes links to recipes that ship well and also shipping tips, enjoy:

Also, bar cookies and brownies are great options, since they are more dense and chewy:

Bigger, thicker cookies travel well, but can dry out so wrap them individually in plastic wrap. I also like pressed or molded cookies, the smaller kind. They fit into tins nicely, kind of like the butter cookies you can buy in those round tins. I know about this since I sent cookies for Christmas to my nephew in Afghanistan.
