Hi,
I'm looking at several diabetes-friendly cookie recipes, and keep finding the ingredient "soda," usually "1/4 tsp.soda," etc., as in the Diabetic Chocolate Chip Cookies.
I'm wondering what kind of soda is being called for. Baking soda? Club soda? Coca-cola? Diet Coke? Etc. I am not diabetic, but I want to bake for my friend when she is in town and I don't want to put in the wrong ingredient! I know every little thing matters. Thanks!
