Fruity Diabetic Bars

1/2 cup dates (chopped)
1/2 cup raisins (chopped)
1/2 cup prunes (chopped)
3 eggs
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Boil chopped dried fruits with the cup of water, then add margarine. Mix rest of the ingredients with eggs. Add dry ingredients and combine with fruit. Bake in a greased 9 x 9″ pan at 350 degrees F for approximately 25 – 30 minutes.
