White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Cookies 1/2 cups Unsalted butter (softened) 1/3 cup Sugar 1/3 cup Brown sugar (packed) 1 Egg 1 tsp Vanilla 1 cup flour 1/2 tsp Baking soda 1/4 tsp Salt 6 1/2 ounces White chocolate chips 3/4 cup Macadamia nuts (halved) Blend butter, sugars, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour, baking soda and salt and mix until combined. Avoid overmixing at this point. Stir in white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. Mound 1/3 cups of dough onto lightly greased cookie sheet, placing 2 inches apart. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven until lightly brown around edges, about 13-16 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for several minutes, then remove cookies to wire racks to cool completely.
