1 cup dates (finely chopped)
1/2 cup dried apricots (finely chopped)
1/2 cup walnuts
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1 1/3 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a saucepan, melt together the butter and oil, then add apricots and dates. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract after removing from heat. Combine the oats, baking powder, flour and cinnamon, then add to rest of mixture. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
