Sugar-Free Spice Cookies

2 cup water
1 cup raisins
2 sticks margarine
1 cup prunes (chopped)
1 cup dates (chopped)
2 egg whites
2 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Dash of ground cloves
2 1/3 cup flour, and maybe 1/4 cup additional
1/2 to 1 cup of nuts

Cream margarine, vanilla, egg whites together. Sift all of the dry ingredients together in another bowl. Add water, dry ingredients, raisins, dates, prunes and nuts to creamed mixture. Drop onto cookie sheet. Bake at 325 – 350 degrees F for 7 to 10 min. or until a lightly golden brown.
